How to connect Excel
You connect Excel to the platform's consumption layer (Gold), with read-only, scoped access. The foundation is the same for every tool, with no diverging versions.

A live spreadsheet, no more re-exporting
In Excel, you go to Data → Get Data → from OData feed, point to the address provided by the platform and choose the tables from the Gold layer. From then on, the spreadsheet becomes a window into the official foundation: click Refresh and the latest numbers arrive — same pivot tables, same charts, fresh data.
