Behind Ingestia

I created Ingestia to bring your company closer to its own data.

I'm Douglas Miranda, a data architect and engineer and the founder of Ingestia.

I bring more than 20 years of experience in technology and a track record in data projects at large companies. Today I turn that experience into a platform built to help other businesses organize their information, understand their results and make decisions with more clarity.

The experience I bring to Ingestia

My career includes data projects at companies across different industries, among them:

  • Banco C6
  • Porto Seguro
  • Banco BV
  • Banco Itaú
  • Bradesco Seguros
  • Grupo Pão de Açúcar
  • Lojas Renner
  • Cielo
  • Globo
  • Embraer
  • Serasa
  • ANBIMA
  • Vivo
  • Movida
  • Dasa
  • among others

Along the way, I've worked with data architecture, systems integration, engineering, automation and BI, in environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.

This experience taught me to look at the whole journey of information: how data is generated, how it gets to the right place, how it's organized and how it can help someone understand the business better.

A good data structure has to make sense to the people who use it. It has to deliver reliable information, respect access rules and keep up with the company's needs. These are the concerns I bring to building Ingestia.

Why I created Ingestia

The problem I chose to solve starts with a very common situation: the company has information scattered across several systems and needs to bring it all together to see its own business.

Sales are in the ERP. Customers, in the CRM. Finance is in another system. And part of the information still depends on spreadsheets.

When it's time to analyze results, someone has to export files, cross-reference data and check numbers. This work repeats itself, takes time and makes it hard to see the big picture.

When looking for a solution, the company often finds a bigger project than it expected: hiring a consultancy, bringing together an architect, a data engineer and a project manager, choosing tools and preparing the infrastructure.

I know this work from the inside. I know the knowledge and responsibility involved in building a structure that works.

I created Ingestia to shorten that path.

I want a company to be able to start organizing its data without having to build a whole team of specialists right at the first step. For managers to have more autonomy. And for the knowledge applied in large projects to also help businesses that are starting their data journey.

The idea that guides Ingestia: bringing information, people and decisions closer together.

Architecture and engineering in service of a simpler experience

As a data architect, I work to define how information and systems connect. As an engineer, I turn that structure into processes that move, organize and prepare data for use.

Ingestia comes from combining these two experiences.

The idea is to bring together, in one platform, the path between the information the company already produces and the knowledge it needs to decide:

  • Bring information together

Connect data from different sources and build a more organized view of the business.

  • Prepare data for use

Automate steps and organize a consistent base to track indicators and results.

  • Understand and explore

Use BI and AI agents on that same base, helping people query and analyze the company's information.

My role is to turn the complexity I know into an experience that makes sense for whoever is on the other side of the screen.

What drives me

I think about the business owner who needs to understand their margin, the manager who wants to track results and the team that spends hours preparing reports.

I want these people to be better able to use the information their own business already produces.

My purpose is to use the experience I've built with data to give your company more autonomy.

I want you to spend less time gathering information and have more room to understand what the numbers say, spot opportunities and decide the next steps.

That is the commitment with which I keep building Ingestia.
